Rumours of a second Versace for H&M collection have surfaced, this time for Spring 2012. Here are some shots of the alleged collection – if you're at all interested.
Clearly, money is to be made in the fast-fashion world and Versace is looking for a slice of the money pie – why not! Everybody wins when a high-fashion designer creates an affordable collection for the masses. The designer earns big buckeroonies upon inking the deal. The average consumer can now claim they own a Versace. The smart business person can make a profit from selling the collection on eBay….win.win.win. Right?
If you’re willing to line up in the freezing cold for a chance to fistfight your way to a piece of Versace, be my guest. I’ll stay home and get a few extra hours of sleep in the warmth of my bed and avoid any facial bruising or bodily harm.
