Lindsay Lohan in Playboy

Word on the street is that Lindsay Lohan made a deal to appear in an upcoming issue of Playboy. Haven't we seen her naked in enough magazines already? Why would Hef agree to paying her a reported $1 million buckeroonies to appear in the buff - we've seen it all already. Her hoohah has even made several public appearances.

To be honest, it's kind of sad to see such a beautiful lady deteriorate. I was going through a slew of images of her and there has been a significant change in her appearance over the last several years. It’s a shame, really. She’s been a muse to many fashion designers and photographers over the years but her obvious change in direction is sending her down the wrong road...turn back LiLo!

Vogue's Nude November

Nude November.

Just stating the obvious here. Vogue's across the world have plastered magazine racks with nude cover models - trending nudity!

Enjoy the stunning images and appreciate the photography, it just might help if you're having a case of the Mondays - I sure am.

Williams Channels Monroe for Vogue

All photos: Annie Leibovitz for Vogue
Michelle Williams covers the October issue of Vogue doing her best Marilyn. The photos were taken by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz and are obviously amazing. The spread seems to be a prelude to the release of Michelle Williams' new movie My Week With Marilyn. I have to be honest - she does a good Marilyn.

Back in her Dawson's Creek days I wasn't such a fan of her, but now things are different. She always seems to pick the right movies to star in and she carries herself with great grace while managing to fly under the radar and stay out of the spotlight, leaving the lights for other fame hungry stars.

I love everything about her styling in these images! Huge fan of the old world style.

Hedi Slimane

Photos courtesy of Hedi Slimane's Diary
These images of Frances Bean Cobain are phenomenal. Born to rock and roll couple Courtney Love and the late Kurt Cobain, Frances appears to have blossomed into a very attractive young lady since the last images I had seen of her.

Frances was photographed by Hedi Slimane, a photographer previously unknown to me, because I apparently live under a rock. After checking out his website, I am definitely a fan of the depth and feeling you get from looking at his images, and the way he shoots hhis subjects is phenomenal. His seeming preference to shoot in black and white adds a slight eerieness to the photo and really allows you to get a feeling of the raw emotion...or, atleast that's how I'm feeling about the shots!

There are also some amazing fashion photography shots you should check out in the Fashion Diary section of the website.

Thylane Lena-Rose Blondeau

This kid is stunning.

Thylane Lena-Rose Blondeau is only 10 years old and already making a name for herself as a model. Hailing from the Ivory Coast, this little French beauty already has a Tumblr page dedicated to her and has made the cover of Vogue Enfant. I feel ridiculous saying I feel a smidgen of jealousy towards this 10 year old.

Some of her shots are a little innapropriate for a 10 year old, but something in her makes her look far more mature. Though I'm torn with ethics of putting a child in some of the looks and poses, this kid is going places. She may grow up to be a spoiled little thing but she'll definitely be a gorgeoous spoiled thing.

She won some form of genetic lottery, that's for sure.

Vogue Spain

All photos: Tom Munro for Vogue Spain
Katie Holmes graces the cover of the August issue of Vogue Spain looking phenomenal.

I tend to find she often looks awkward in photos but this spread is amazing and she looks great - with the exception of a few shots where I can sort of see the awkward creeping in. I will look past this and see the entire spread as stunning – great photography and great styling.

For the cover shot, Katie is wearing a lace dress from Lanvin’s 2011 Fall/Winter collection – which makes me envious.
Again, I echo the fact that I would love to do a professional shoot like this!

Angelina Jolie for Louis Vuitton

Angelina Jolie photographed by Annie Leibovitz for Louis Vuitton
This is an ad created for the Louis Vuitton Core Values campaign. The beauty of the image aside, I have a few qualms. It has been reported, and apparently confirmed by corporate LV that Angelina was make-up free for the shoot. Really? Did they Photoshop the makeup on after they realized even Angelina couldn’t pull off a ‘natural beauty’ ad?

My second qualm with this is the focus of the image. If Louis Vuitton is trying to shoot this in hopes of promoting their merchandise, notably the monogrammed bag hidden next to Angelina, they’ve failed. This ad looks more about Angelina than anything to do with LV or their brand. The setting is nothing that one would associate with the luxury that is Louis Vuitton, and the purse that should pop in an ad like this is completely shadowed by both Angelina and the setting in which the photograph was shot.

Sadly, a failure of an ad like this won’t even leave a ding in a company like LV.
