I've Been Waiting for You

Road House Blues
Uh Oh Roll Down the Window
I think this is the colour I've been waiting for. You can't possibly know how excited I am to see the colour of Road House Blues. I have been looking for a nice navy without all the shimmer they keep throwing in. I can't be 100% sure this doesn't have a shimmer, but from the picture I am willing to wager that it is shimmer-free.

These two colours are from the OPI Fall collection which hit stores August 3rd. There are several other colours that looks really great as well as well. I REALLY hope looks aren't deceiving here.

Bravo OPI, Bravo. You have quite possible made my day, maybe even the week.

Ombre Nails

So, I may be tardy to this party but I just noticed Lauren Conrad's nails in this photo and I love the concept! Apparently it's something referred to as Ombre Nails. The whole concept is simple – paint each nail a slightly darker colour while staying in the same colour family.

If you do your own nails though, this means having a colossal amount of nail polish. I think this is a look better left for the pros and I might attempt it before the summer colour season is over!

Nail Art

Well, this ad is right on point when it comes to nail trends. As of late, there has been a huge surge in nail design that it has become quite an art in its own right. This ad had to be a pretty big feat since the nail is probably the human body's smallest canvas!

Kudos to Kia! The concept behind this ad is creative.

My assumption can only be that the Kia Picanto is a girly car. Marketing an automobile this way will definitely not be getting any of the world's gentlemen lining up to drive one of these engines off the lot.

Vroom, vroom ladies.

Sew Psyched

“Wouldn’t a khaki green colour make a nice nail polish colour” I said to my mom – a week later I find this colour at Shoppers. Ask and you shall receive!

Currently it’s my go-to nail polish…until I find a nice navy blue that I’ve been itching for.
