Met Gala - The Good

Camilla Belle in Ralph Lauren

Cate Blanchett in McQueen

Diane Kruger in Prada

Gennifer Goodwin in Monique Lhuillier

Jessica Alba in Michael Kors
These ladies looked phenomenal in their selections.

Diane Kruger is a bit out of the box with her gown, but i'm liking it! The colour is gorgeous and the fit has a relaxed chic vibe to it. She may not make it to your best dressed list, but she sure is on mine!

Gennifer Goodwin looks great in Tangerine Tango - the colour of the year! An unusual colour selection in my opinion, but she worked it.

As for Camilla, Cate and Jessica - I would love to borrow your dresses when you're through with them!

Met Gala - The Bad and The Ugly

Christina Ricch in Thakoon

Debra Messing in Kaufmanfranco

Elizabeth Banks in Mary Katrantzou

Emma Stone in Lanvin

Eva Mendes in Prada

Julianne Hough in Carolina Herrera

Karolina Kurkova and Rachel Zoe in Rachel Zoe

Leighton Meester in Marchesa

Rashida Jones in Tory Burch
For all events, we always see the good, the bad and the ugly.

File these under the bad and the ugly.
I generally like most of these peoples' fashion choices, but sometimes bad fashion happens to good people!

Edible Fashion

Walnuts by Louis Vuitton. Photo by Fulvio Bonavia for Garage magazine.

Anchovies by Moncler. Photo by Fulvio Bonavia for Garage magazine.

Lettuce by Alexander McQueen. Photo by Fulvio Bonavia for Garage magazine.

Citrus by Prada. Photo by Fulvio Bonavia for Garage magazine.
I like it when people get creative.

Feast your eyes on these four striking pieces of fashion, substituting fabrics with food. Delicious (with the exception of the anchovies).

Prada - Fall/Winter 2011/2012

All Photos: Steven Meisel

As I set out to brave the scorching heat taking over much of North America, I drive-by-drooled the Prada window on Bloor Street.

There was a fabulous pair of rich red pumps and it inspired me to look up the rest of their collection - to no surprise, all the shoes in this collection are drool-worthy.

One day, I will be the proud owner of designer pumps ... one day far from today.
