MET Gala 2014 - The Good

I found it hard to find looks that I absolutely loved on the MET Gala red carpet. Here are a few of my favourites.

These ladies always get it together and never disappoint! They always look incredible, and here's another nod to fashion excellence.

Let's Not Skirt This Obsession

I have a bit of an obsession at the moment with a-line midi skirts. It's such a classic look with a silhouette that works well on every body shape - singed at the waist and flared at the hips!

Putting together an outfit with a fun, flirty skirt has never been easier. These skirts look great paired with a simple tee and statement necklace, or class it up a bit with a nicer blouse and pair of over sized pearl earrings.

Oooooh I can't wait for the weather to turn up so I can start doing the bare-leg and wear these skirts!

Mayhem for the MET

Ahead of the 2014 MET Gala, Vogue is posting some photos of this little cutie playing dress up.

Vogue has been posting images on their Instagram account of Mayhem, a little four year old, dressing up in some of the more memorable fashions from MET Galas past.

A quick visit to @2sisters_angie, reveals that dressing up is something that Mayhem is heavily involved in! Her mother Angie spends some quality mother/daughter time by playing dress up with Mayhem (is that really her daughter's name??) on a fairly frequent basis!

One would assume, this little tot is going to grow up to create Mayhem in the fashion world!

Suit Up - It's A Wet One

We get it already - April showers bring May flowers. It's May - you can stop.

If it isn't depressing enough to thaw out from a brutal winter, non-stop rain will just make us all want to stay tucked under the covers and pray for sunnier days to emerge.

Some retail therapy may help you cope! What's that saying again - If you can't beat 'em, join 'em? Does that apply to weather??

If we're going to have to put up with this rain for the forseeable future, we may as well look good doing it! You may want to add a few of these to your rain wardrobe so you're better prepared for even more rain!
